This is ideal for those who have an indoor garden and would want their plants to grow as fast as they can. The downside is that it can be expensive to do and to set up, and you will need indoor lights which can also be expensive.

There are garden beds that are made out of timbers, bricks. Wood or mounds and they can elevate the garden soil a lot higher than the original level. Since the soil is elevated, it can dry faster, and it can also allow a better drainage. It can also reduce strain on the back by reducing the angle of how far a person needs to bend to pull the weed, or plant or harvest. The wood used in this method can be expensive though, so you need to have the budget for it.

5.) Straw bale gardening

You can use straw bales and plant in them since they are conditioned to allow the breakdown process of the bacteria thus providing an affecting medium for your plants to grow. Straw is a cheap material to use in your garden, in fact, it is a lot cheaper than using hay. This method can also prevent the weed from growing. The downside of using a straw is that it dries out fast, but with proper maintenance, it can last for years.

This is done by placing wood chips that measure around 4 to 6 inches in order to cover the soil and it will act as the protection of the soil bacteria. It can also retain the moisture of the ground and the mulch weeds. This method can amend the soil and it can also protect your garden soil from radiation and weathering, thus suppressing the growth of weeds.
